I understand what Raymond ment when he said that each application that does not run, means 1 less person who converts to the latest version.
I use a USB modem provided by my ISP for my DSL connection. This is a "Tera-100U" and works fine with XP. But I have not been able to get it work with either Windows 2003 or Longhorn. I am unable to find an updated version of the driver, not does my ISP know of a new version.
This is proving to be a real pain as I now do not have access to the net from those two OSes...:-(
If someone does know of a upgraded driver, do let me know.

Hi,
Saw a lot of ppl having problems with the airtel beetel dsl modem like bsods etc. This modem uses the GlobespanVirata chipsetmake sure the modem config settings (start->programs->beetel dsl modem->configure) are set to:
VPI = 1, VCI = 32, Encapsulation = RFC 2364 PPPoATM NULL Encapsulation and Modulation = Multimode.
The above settings should take of all driver issues on WinXP/2K

I have the same IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Nothing I have done has solved the problem. I have tried drivers version 1.21 and 1.22 with XP SP2 to no avail. Will try the PPPoATM instead of PPPoE and see. Does anyone know if there is another modem that will work with Airtel and has no issues? I'll just buy a new one if I am sure that it works and that will be the end of the problem. thanks.

Hi Guys,
Please unplug usb interface from the Modem.
Boot the system,
Then before login, insert back the USB interface.
Then go to All Programs/beetel DSL Modem/Configure
Then select Encapsulation as "RFC 2364PPPoATM LLC Encapsulation " and all others in the same place.
Then Apply & Restart without plugging out the Modem USB Interface
Bye

Hi,
I want to use an Airtel DSL connection over Wireless LAN.
I currently have a hathway Internet connection which provides a static IP address and use it without any problems with my Zyxel B2000 V2 Wireless Router.
Since Hathway connection is not stable, I want to shift to Airtel DSL but the Airtel guys just don't want to confirm whether I will be able to use the DSL connection using their ethernet ADSL modem with Zyxel B2000 Access point cum router.
Can you guys offer some solution
