When I talk about windows, people usually come up with the "it is not for the enteprise" argument. They want to see where Windows is used to handle large transactions or do high volume data crunching.
Found a MS site on High Performance Computing, that talks about huge clusters running Windows 2003 and SQL Server. And seeing the case studies there I am real impressed (Human Genome work, SkyQuery etc.).

Sure was interesting reading. But I still feel MS is not yet accepted for High Performance Computing and for good reason.
