Was doing some work on an excel spreadsheet and I entered 1st and then did the normal drag the corner to create incremented values. I assumed it would create 2st, 3st etc and I would have to go and change the stuff.
I was delighted, when Excel understood my need and created 2nd, 3rd etc. Incredibly cool..


what is the world coming to?
such a silly, dumb discovery permits a blog post?

Actually, this is pretty rudimentary - there's no way anybody would every want 2st, 3st,etc. I would have been shocked if Excel hadn't detected this

Developers use vs.net / notepad not excel(yeah we do sometimes use powerpnt and winword though).

Hmm..actually, OSS is catching on pretty fast. Firefox takes care of a lot of the *small* things :)
