If you want to try out the LINQ Preview, I mentioned in my previous post then make sure that you have VS 2005 RC1 installed. It will install even if Beta 2 is available but will screw up VS and the only solution currently seems a format.

Jonathan Stroud: Ptolemy's Gate (The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Book 3)
Jonathan Stroud: The Golem's Eye (The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Book 2)
Jonathan Stroud: The Amulet of Samarkand (The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Book 1)

Uh, really? Is this the same LINQ preview they gave out at the PDC? I'm running that on VS2005 Beta 2 just fine. In fact I have no choice - I'm running it in Vista build 5219 (one of the two builds given out at the PDC). You can't run VS2005 RC1 on Vista build 5219.

Well atleast the VB LINQ pack seems to need RC 1. The C# one mentions that it would run on Beta 2 also.
