Has Scoble lost his blog power?
Usually when you get Scobleized your hit rates spike and leave you wondering if you wrote something controversial!!!
Actually Scoble linked to my blog last week (Indian BlogCamp gonna be bigger than TechCrunch) and there was hardly a blip in my hit rate.
So did Scoble leaving Microsoft actually affect his blog power? I thought his being in MS was not what made him a A-list blogger, but then the numbers seem to suggest otherwise?
Robert, did you loose traffic when you left MS or is it just that none of your current/new readers are interested in .NET nor India (I thought that was a deadly combination when I named my blog)? Hopefully the former is not true. :)

Windows Live Writer
I was just checking the blog of Peter, with whom I had a telecon in the morning, and found out>A about this new tool that MS has released called Windows Live Writer.
This is a windows application that allows you to blog from your desktop. I have not tried it yet, but I have been using Word 2007's blogging feature on and off and so do not see a major value add here, unless someone does point it out.
If you do not have Word 2007, then the good thing is that Writer is a free download and seems to support most of the blogging systems out there.

Presentation Bloopers
A fellow MVP pointed out to a new article on MS UK site on the Top Ten Worst Presentation Moments. I was really in a conference room, just waiting for a meeting to start when I read it and I almost laughed out loud.
Though it it funny, it also gives a few pointers to how even with the best preparation, real life can be so unmanagable..;)

New URL for CNUG
Most of you who have been following my blog know that I run a user group in Chennai, that is called CNUG.
Recently the domain used by this group expired, and was registered by someone else, before we could re-register. So I have moved CNUG to a new domain, http://www.cnug.in

PC vs Mac - Parody
Apple has series of Ads now airing in the US that kind of makes fun of the PC and shows Mac as being cool. You can watch the Get the Mac Ads on the Apple site.
While browsing one my friends (Manoj Agarwal) blog, I came upon this parody of one of the ads (the Virus Ad).

In interesting article in ZDnet comparing the Betas of the next versions of the two major browsers, Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2.
From the analysis it looks like IE is no more the non-secure browser anymore...:)
