Google has been doing this for quite sometime.. try searching for Manchester United.. it not only shows scores of the current game but also previous matches. Maybe, its specific to sports?

Sanjay, I am not a sports fanatic and even when I do look up sports information(NFL or Cricket maybe), I usually go directly to a specific site (so rarely do I search on sports). That is why I was quite surprised when my colleague did a search and found this. Based on your comment, I too would guess it is sports specific and Bing happened to be better for tennis searches maybe? I also tried ManU search and looks like Google got that one, as Bing did not show the scores like Google. Well now you have another criteria to look at when choosing a search engine..:)
